Without knowing, I bought two albums featuring the same sax player (Óskar Gudjónsson), whom I didn't know before, at the same day, amazing! Colourful, subtle drumming by bandleader Scott McLemore, an American relocated to Iceland. The album definetely comes with a "nordic flavour". Nice playing the other band members, too! Carsten Pieper

My third album! Honestly, I thought I'd have more by now. My favorite track is definitely "Extended Thema" which is based on a composition called "Thema" by my lovely wife, Sunna Gunnlaugs. I always love playing "Thema" with her trio and I would sometimes mess around with it on the piano (when no one was home). I'm just happy I was able to pull off this little tribute without being sued for copyright infringement. ;-P Scott McLemore
